Got to meet and talk to the former President of Haiti! Mme Ertha Pascal-Trouillot. THE FIRST FEMALE BLACK PRESIDENT IN THE WORLD!
I was honored to be among the seven students chosen from my school to meet with Mme Ertha Pascal-Trouillot. We were able to ask her questions, per translator, and she answered with an array of interesting stories. Her stories were about life before being President of Haiti, her rise into world politics and being a woman in a third world country. What an awesome, unforgetable experience.
